    For your consideration, an old Tru-Edge carbon steel butcher knife Made by the Ontario Knife Co USA for the Old Hickory Line of knives
    Medium weight knife with 8 inch blade, nice carbon steel with a fine patina of age; sharpened
    Handle is made of wood and the  full tang is held in place by 2 rivets.  Handle is still sturdy and closely fitted to the tang.
