  • Condition: Very nice condition for her age with a good and clear etching and as new stag grip. Just a little pitting on the blade, which could possible be removed by carefull polishing. My father bought this knife in 1960 in Germany, but it is probably older.

    Description

    Vintage/antique beautiful handmade Solingen, Germany Hunting Trachten (traditional) knife.
    Originally used as a neck finishing knife.
    The blade has original, very clear, etchings and is made from the best Solingen steel.
    The handle is made from a very nice piece of staghorn. It has German silver bolsters.
    Very well handmade perfect fitting leather sheath (as new) with German silver fittings.
    Length overall 7.9 in. Blade 3.9 in.
