Vintage WWII era Philippines bolo knife sword machete chopper wide blade sheath
Description: Selling a collection of WWII era Philippines swords and knives. Two of the blades are labeled Leyte, 1944 so i assume the other knives in the collection are from the same period. This is a really nice working bolo with a bright, polished blade and nicely carved scabbard. Forged steel blade with discolorations from age (see photos). Hardwood hilt. Two piece scabbard with open carvings and floral designs, you can see the blade through the carvings. Looks like one or more rattan bands may be missing but the scabbard is otherwise in good shape. I cleaned the blade with Dawn detergent and wiped it down with Ballistol but i have not attempted any extensive cleaning

Old/antique item not suitable for training purposes or use. Blade is glued in place, not pinned, so it could become loose.
