Vintage Oyster Knife Potomac Bay Baltimore Curved Blade Steel Oak Handle Branded

Vintage oyster knife
Recently acquired from a private collection on Masons Island in Connecticut
I believe the handle is oak
The steel knife is riveted ( most likely just nailed and not technically riveted ) into the handle with copper nails
The steel blade has a curved tip
Some of the knives from this collection where labeled and luckily this was one of them
There is masking tape that has been tied around the handle
The tapes writing ; ‘ Potomac Bay Baltimore ‘ , the tape is ripped. , there may have been a date that has been lost
I tried to search for a company that existed by that name but couldn’t find a match
The handle is branded ( possibly just stamped ) PBB
I gently cleaned the knife with a wet rag and some steel wool
Measures 7 inches long
