    Description

    Vintage Gurkha 17" service Kukri MkIII DD-64 British Broadarrow India Bolo Knife.
    This listing is for one surplus British Gurkha Kukri measuring 17". It is marked DD-64 with a Broad arrow stamp. It does show some signs of use or post manufacture sharpening.
    The knife does have a slight oil on the blade that could be polished right off
    Online research shows DD-64 indicates manufacture at the Dehradun India plant in 1964. Further research indicates the Dehradun plant (Windlass Steelcraft) is the main supplier of knives to the Gurkha military units since 1943.
