    I really like this piece...I do not know the age or origin, came from a large collection, but it looks to be from Africa.  It is what I've seen referred to as a pig-sticker and it makes sense the tribes may need an item like this to hunt.  Look how thick that blade is...need it thick in case you hit a bone...a bent blade in close combat with a wild animal could mean your death.  The sheath looks to be hide covered wood and had wear as shown.  Awesome piece.  Shipping a bit more than normal due to the length.
