VINTAGE 1800s BRITISH WHALER'S FLENSING KNIFE

This historic piece is
12"
in total with an
7.5" blade
. It is in quite good condition for its age with some black age spots on the blade and old grease between the handles & tang. It has a full tapered tang and wood handles held by 5 small pins. This knife is from the
Leith Docks, Edinburgh, Scotland,
and recently came out of a
maritime naval collection
.
