Description
The South Africa 20 Rand banknote released in 2018 by the South African Reserve Bank comes in brown and violet combinations. The banknotes obverse design depicts the countrys coat of arms and a picture of former president Nelson Mandela. The reverse features a young Mandela, who was also known as Madiba, wearing a traditional attire. The Mandela House in Soweto is also shown in the background. The 134 x 70 mm paper banknote comes with a holographic windowed security thread with the national emblem, SARB, and 20 RAND. Additionally, the note has a watermark that reflects Nelson Mandela and an electrotype 20. The banknote carries the signature of bank governor E. Lesetja Kganyago. This particular South Africa 20 Rand banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
