One end has no curl (has a leader) for about the last 6 inches. Nice for putting the cord into the channels on the back of the phone. New in a plastic sleeve.

working length of this cord is 5 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 14 inches long,
NOT 9 FEET
. Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 9 foot cord because 9 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
