    This interesting piece is 10" in total with a 5.5" blade. It is solid and in good condition, except that the bolster is missing and the tip has been broken at some point in the past. The blade is stamped but is very hard to read. The closest I can come is "

    ," but that is just a guess. This knife probably dates back to the late
    1700s or early 1800s
