    Description

    Here is a nice HAND-MADE KNIFE & SHEATH circa 1800s NORWEGIAN knife with a ROSEWOOD HANDLE and an ETCHED SILVER SHEATH---no HALLMARKS ARE VISIBLE on the SILVER.       It measures 7 1/2" long when in sheath---knife 7" long, blade 3 1/3" long.  A LINER is inside the sheath.   This came from a DECORAH IOWA estate---most notable home to the Norwegian Immigrants in the U.S.   SEE MY OTHER NORWEGIAN VINTAGE KNIFE LISTED!!      It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION with light wear, slight staining/rusting/patina---------SEE THE PHOTOS.   THANKS FOR BIDDING!
