This Jim Bowie Knife is an official issue of the United States Historical Society obtained from the original owner.
This is # 77 of only 500 made. Originally purchased in 1987 for 0.00.
14" knife is created from high-grade forged steel, blued and embellished with 18 karat gold. German Silver fittings enhance hand-rubbed rosewood handle.
One side of the blade depicts the Vidalia, Mississippi sandcar confrontation which established the Bowie legend in 1827.
The reverse side depicts portraits of James Bowie and Rezin Bowie.
Comes with Certificate of Authenticity, wood box and outer box.
Handling was minimal. It’s in fantastic condition!
Boxes are also in excellent condition.
