    Description

Bespoke Men’s Scarlet Hunt Coat 40” Chest Foxhunting 1953 New York EUC.
They don’t make them like this anymore! Absolutely stunning and beautifully made Men’s Scarlet Hunt Coat for Fox hunting staff. This heavy Calvary Twill 5 button hunt coat was handmade by Alfred Wilson Co., Inc. New York for G. W. Humphrey in 1953. Frock style with seamed waist, paneled back, center vent, straight cut fronts with squared corners on the skirt. Bright Scarlet with green collar. Buttons will be removed prior to shipping as they are specific to the hunt. Excellent condition and well cared for ready for the hunt field. Some slight discoloration around the buttons from residual polish. Some darker splatter type stains that may or may not come out with a trip to the cleaners (or your own favorite remedy). Ticket pocket on front left waist seam. Two inner chest pockets. One inner poachers pocket. Thick satin lining in immaculate condition. No significant rips or tears to the outside. One small rub (not full thickness) between the shoulder blades on the back.
