Antique Tribal Jungle Knife/Machete and scabbard. Hand Crafted .
We have not been able to find much info on this knife. Was informed it pre-dates the 1900's.
It belonged to a high up ranking tribal member.
Can not identify the blade material or handle material. The blade is not stainless steel and its not carbon.
As we tried to identify the handle we see some rubbing scuffs on the blunt end and it is showing white. Can be for sure but that would resemble bone or antler. It is full flanged and its real sharp. It for sure holds an edge. We did not want to do any cleaning on it so we left it just the way we found it. it shows all different types of material on the blade. it will come off as it all looks to be just on surface.  I would leave it there personally if I was to keep. The history and the thoughts of our imagination towards its stories of time is all ready a great conversation piece.
