    Description

    A rust / orange handset cord made by Adirondack. Often called orange. Works on trimline, 500 (rotary desk) 554 (rotary wall) 2500 (touch tone desk) 2554 (touch tone wall) and many others. Still in package but the package has been opened. Presumed new but listing as used.

    working length of this cord is 6 feet. Relaxed the coiled portion of this cord is about 42 inches long,

    . Add a little more for the uncoiled portion on each end. It is called a 25 foot cord because 25 feet of material goes into the curling machine.
    Western Electric went by a standard that "LONG" meant 12 feet and "STD (standard) meant 6 feet. Later, "LONG" came to mean a 25 foot cord.
