2002 Toyota 4runner
The previous owner owned the 4runner almost its entire life. The body and frame have are in good condition with no rust I could find. All the buttons, window switches and mechanical work great. I have posted 3 videos, 2 are walk around videos and 1 is of the obd2 scanner codes.
ISSUE: Transmission will go in park, neutral, reverse, and 1st gear but when the truck goes to switch to second gear the truck looses power and then shifts back to first gear. The video links below show detailed information. As you can see the previous owner spent several thousand dollars and then bailed because his child was born and was forced to buy a new vehicle.
This 2002 4runner was serviced consisteny during previous ownership. I have many service receipts. Here is a list of what most recent receipts I found worth mentioning.
187k- Transmission Rebuild (Jasper)
204k- replace front lower control arms, tie rod ends, lower control arm sleeves, alignment
209k- replace front left steering spindle, front left axle, front left brake caliper, new pads/rotors front, lower ball joint
210k- Replace muffler, exhaust pipes/gasket, passenger axle
211k- replace radiator. refill and bleed coolant system. R&R transmission fluid
211k- replace front differential assembly with fresh 75w90 syn fluid
213k- new battery, fuel pump
